Grammar Snufus by Karla Stover

Okay, here's the deal. When did people become "that" instead of "who?" I hear this on the radio on the TV ( and shouldn't news reporters know better )? and unless my memory is wrong, have even read it in places. Why? How hard is it to remember that people require a "who"? And here's another--myself instead of me. My boss did this all this time and it drove me crazy. Are we so afraid to  be in the spotlight that we have to say, "So-and-so and myself did such-and-so?"

Just One Year by Gayle Forman

Just One Year by Gayle Forman Available Now Hardcover 323 pages Personal Copy To Buy Links- Amazon / Kindle/   Audible/ Barnes and Noble Goodreads-    The heartrending conclusion—from Willem’s POV—to the romantic duet of novels that began with Allyson’s story in Just One Day After spending an amazing day and night together in Paris, Just One Year is Willem’s story, picking up where Just One Day ended. His story of their year of quiet longing and near misses is a perfect counterpoint to Allyson’s own as Willem undergoes a transformative journey, questioning his path, finding love, and ultimately, redefining himself. I totally gushed and gooed over Just One Day. It is one of my all time favorite books. It was life changing for me. So, Just One Year had a lot to live up to. Did it meet my expectations? Yes and no.  I loved reading Willem's point of view, learning about what shaped him and about his family. I wouldn't have realized his depths from reading Just One Day. ...
